MARS ENTERS LIBRA

Mars isn’t particularly happy in the sign of Libra, the sign of its detriment. It’s one of Venus’s home signs and of course fiery Mars can’t possibly be content with all that “harmony and goodwill to all” crap.

Mars in Libra obviously “fights” for fairness and uses his energy to charm and befriend but his lack of willingness to seriously engage leads to indecision and compromise either of which can often start off a spiral of frustration for all involved until the fuse eventually blows.

During the sojourn in Libra Mars will make the following aspects to the outer planets:

08/08: trine Uranus (01°07’ Libra-Gemini) – trines are supposedly easy transits but could lead to feeling too confident, careful of arguments and worse.

09/08: simultaneously opposite Saturn R (01°20’) and Neptune R (01°50’) both along the Libra-Aries axis – while things fall down (Saturn-Neptune) around us perhaps our efforts (Mars) at damage (Mars) control (Saturn) will be too idealistic (Neptune) or restrictive (Saturn) and lead to further disappointment (opposition aspect).

10/08: trine Pluto R (02°12’ Libra-Aquarius) – feelings of omnipotence (Pluto) and bravado (Mars) come easy (trine aspect) but might not pay off likewise greed (Mars) and fanatism (Pluto).

04-05/09: square Jupiter (18°35’ Libra-Cancer) – it could be very easy now to get into trouble if you are unable to handle the excess (Jupiter) of energy (Mars) or maybe you’ll fight (Mars) for the better good or a higher cause (Jupiter).
